Airplane Food Part 2

Part 2 to my Airplane Food Series.

Air France premium economy.

We bought these tickets and upgrading to premium economy was worth it. We have tickets later this week on Air France in coach and I am wishing we would have upgraded.

Here's what it looks like in the premium economy cabin.

Here is the dinner. They gave me both champagne and wine to drink. The FA said "It's Air France have both!" Well who am I to turn down champagne and wine :)

After dinner drink!

Breakfast!

We leave Thursday, so I'll be posting pics as soon as I can!

Airplane Food Part 1

A friend of mine came up with this idea for a post, or a series of posts on airplane food. My husband is a pilot and I non-rev to Paris. That means I get to sit in business class (I still call it first class) premium economy (that's what I call business class) and coach.

So I'm here to show you airline food on the different airlines in different classes of service.

The most recent flight I was on was Paris to Miami on American in business class (first class). This was the first time I was in business class on American.

The menu

I started with nuts, oj and water, while watching Coco.

The "small plate" lemon salmon and a salad.

The main course was a tenderloin. I'll admit mine wasn't very good, but my husband said his was. Guess I should have the fish :)

Dessert was ice cream sundae. I had whipped cream and crushed pecans.

During the flight we had a selection of snacks.

This is what I picked.

The before we land meal. This was by far the best sandwich ever. It was a grilled cheese sandwich with bbq meat. Oh and American has chocolate salted caramel pudding. It's on the right in the back in the blue box. They serve that in all classes of service and it is so good. I've had it several times

Stay tuned for the next post: Air France premium economy.

Il fait froid

C'était froid à Paris. (It was cold in Paris.)

I had planned a quick 3 night trip to Paris. I was watching the weather and it looked like is was going to be cold, but not as cold as it turned out to be. Because it was so cold, I really didn't do much this trip.

The walk from the metro to our apartment takes me right by Notre Dame.

The first day I arrived I took a quick nap and went to the grocery store and boulangerie.

The Seine is really going down. It's not back to normal, but the walking path across the river has opened up again!

This was taken later that day when the sun came out!

My new favorite pastry. This is a pain Suisse. It's like croissant dough with chocolate chips and butter.

More about the latest trip coming up!

Au revoir!
