Airplane Food Part 3

Here is part 3 of my airplane food series. Part 1 and Part 2 are here if you missed them.

We flew on Air France in coach this last trip. We bought the tickets, so I can't complain as much for being stuck in the back. Yes I know I'm spoiled when it comes to flying.

On the flight over we were on an A380. In my opinion that airplane is too big to fly. It's so big. We were on the 2nd floor and we paid to sit in the exit row to have lots of leg room. Just missed the part where the seats are actually not as wide due to the fact that they put the tv screen and the try table in the arm. It was a little tight.

This trip they did not start out with wine and champagne they just jumped right to the meal.

Chicken with potatoes and some type of salad. It wasn't bad.

After dinner cocktail!

Breakfast

On the way home we were on a 777 all the way in row 50. We chose that because it was only two across!!

Champagne and a snack!

I had the pasta with some type of quinoa salad.

Dan had the chicken.

Pre landing snack.

This was some type of vegetable bread that went with the snack. It was so gross. I was so hungry that I ate half of it, but oh my it was gross.

Stay tuned for Part 4!

Back in Cocoa Beach

We are back home in Florida. I was hoping to blog more while we were in Paris this last trip, but our internet in the apartment is so slow that it's difficult. Hopefully May 2nd we will have fast internet!!

My plan is to recap the trip in several different posts. We did a lot while we were there for 10 nights.

This was the best part of the trip! We went to Nice for the day!

My first run in Paris

Two posts in one day!!!

So this year I have not been running as much as I have in the past. I signed up for the Paris Marathon. It is in a week and no I won't be running. Life happened and I didn't train. Between the stress of the house and getting sick, I didn't run. This year I've run about 20 miles total. When we decided to move here part time I mapped out all kinds of running paths and have yet to run. I even joined a facebook running group. No I haven't joined them yet either.

Well today after walking around Paris with my husband for (according to my apple watch) 6.6 miles, I went for a 2 mile run!! Woohoo!

What I learned from running in Paris. I need new running clothes. I wore my running pants, which happen to be 11 years old. I really don't need pants to run in since I live in Florida. And I need to run more because I'm super slow.

We are going to Nice tomorrow for the day, so I'm going to try and run again on Tuesday!

Easter In Paris

Last April we bought tickets on Air France. I didn't realize we would be here during Easter. I never dreamed we would have our apartment. We booked an AirBnB to stay in, before we signed our lease. Thankfully we were able to cancel AirBnB and get our money back!

I did a little research on how the French celebrate Easter. Here they don't have the Easter bunny like we do in the US. They have flying bells. The church bells grow wings and fly to Rome to be blessed by the Pope then fly back to the church. The churches don't ring the bells until they fly back. We awoke this morning to Notre Dame's bells chiming. It's a beautiful sound.

We arrived here on Friday and I'm not sure exactly what is going on around Notre Dame, but they have the area in front of the church fenced off. If you want to get in the fenced in area you have to go through security first.

I also learned that the chocolatiers take their Easter candy creations very serious. I had seen pictures on social media and decided when we got here I would go on an Easter candy hunt. Take pictures not eat all of the candy :) Ok I did buy one chocolate bunny.

The chocolate is almost too cute to eat!

Our plan is to go walk around Paris and come home and make our Easter dinner. Tomorrow we fly to Nice for the day.

Joyeuses Pâques!
