The Metro

I take the metro from the airport to the apartment and back all the time by myself. I never get nervous, but when it comes to riding the metro in Paris city is a whole other thing. It scares me to ride by myself. I have no problems riding with my husband or a friend, but alone scared me.

The first time I rode by myself was in July and the only reason I did it was because I was hot and I had walked for 10 miles around town and I was so over walking. I was two miles from home and couldn't walk anymore.

Well today I went all the way up to Montmartre. I even changed lines! I was so proud of myself. I did have a glass of wine for lunch so maybe that helped :) And I made it home without calling a taxi!

I absolutely love the metro app. I paid to unlock all of the features. For me it was worth it. I love that it tells you which carriage to ride in.

Tomorrow I'm going to try out the Batobus!

rue Montorgueil

One of my favorite things to do in Paris is to walk around with no destination. When I was walking around I stumbled across rue Montorgueil. I had read about this rue and it was on my list of places to go.

I'm going to post the pictures I have, but defiantly plan on going back an writing more about it.

This is one of the oldest food markets in central Paris.

Next trip I plan on eating here!

I do plan on returning and I'm also going to bring the GoPro!

We leave less than a week, I'm very excited!
